Get Me Staff Recruitment now offer CRBs (Criminal Records Bureau) clearence checks to any potential and current employees, if required.

A valid CRB is required for jobs which involves working with young children and vulnerable adults such as cleaning jobs in schools.

Please Note: that the discounted CRBs that Get Me Staff offer are for persons registered with Get Me Staff ONLY whom are working or potentially working for Get Me Staff Recruitment. These CRBS are enhanced CRBs and NOT Standard CRBs which means they provide employers with the information.

Enhanced CRB Disclosure

Enhanced CRB disclosures are required for jobs which involve a much greater degree of contact with children or vulnerable adults. The type of work which requires an enhanced CRB disclosure will involve regularly caring for, supervising, training or being in sole charge of such people. Enhanced CRB disclosures are also required for certain statutory purposes such as gaming and lottery licences.

The main difference between a Standard and an Enhanced CRB disclosure is that the latter involves a check on local police records as well as the Police National Computer. Where those records contain information that may be relevant to the job which the applicant is being considered for, the Chief Officer of the relevant police force may release additional information for inclusion in the Enhanced CRB Disclosure. In some circumstances (usually to protect an ongoing police investigation), the additional information may be sent to the umbrella body which countersigns the CRB application but not revealed in the enhanced CRB disclosure to the applicant.
